2015 World Championships
The INTA would like to congratulations all members of the Irish Team who took part in the 2015 World Championships. The event, held in Jesolo, Italy, saw Irish junior and senior competitors take on countries from all over the world both in individual and team events.
Now ranked as 4th in the world, Irish Taekwon-Do athletes are quickly becoming recognised for their high level of skill and expertise.
The martial art has grown from a small base to become a very popular sport over a relatively short period of time. This growth has been attributed to the immense dedication of instructors and promoters of Taekwon-Do both in Ireland and Europe and their constant efforts to motivate and encourage students to reach the highest level of their ability.
Master O'Toole, president of the INTA, indicated that he was very encouraged by the high positioning of the Irish Competitors and acknowledged the hard work and devotion that each student makes to achieve such a high level. In addition, he mentioned that accreditation must be given to student instructors and coaches who have committed themselves to the development of their students and consequently the growth of Taekwon-Do in Ireland.
A huge congratulations to all.
